Make sure your oven is at 220C.
Spray your baking tray with corn oil spray (you can get it from the store)
Mix together the flour, sugar and salt. Then, add in butter to the flour mixture (rub the butter with the mixture until all the flour mixture blend nicely with the butter). Add in raisins too.
Pour in the milk, stir until you form the mixture into a dough, once it is done, pat the dough into 2cm thick.
You can then cut the dough into your preferred pattern and size, then place all the scones on to the baking tray.
Brush the tops of the scones with the beaten egg yolk.
Bake your scones for about 15 minutes until well risen and golden.
You can serve your scones with butter and jam.
