It shows how old their relationship is. Not as old as in a true sense but it is as old as they have experienced living together.
Many that they have learnt together. Many that they were in an adventure about life together. Many that they have explored each other's arguments and patience.
Many to write here too.
What for sure, she's on the right path taking together along the way the love of her life.
And him...yes, she puts together this character back into her story as she loves this antagonist character very much.

Life changes every time.
If you believe that your life has come to an end, has come to a conclusion, do not stop there. Do not give it up. Find some ways to continue the plot. Change the characters in the story, change the story line, change the music, change the sound effect, change the colours, change the background, change the setting, and finally, you can change and improve the theme.
The movie you watched in the past about you is just another planned episode from Allah (swt)/God the al-mighty. What covers in each episode are lessons. We must know how to deal with the story line that we created, we must be strong if what we expected in the story line and with the characters are not as planned and arranged, but it is not wrong to cry still.
As we know how to troubleshoot the errors and flaws, we will somehow guide ourselves to wisely make a move to find better ways to live.
Once we move on and finally reach our destination, we'll appreciate more of the characters in the story, appreciate the settings, and of course we'll appreciate the time that has taught you great lesson about what is life and switched you into a more calm and steady individual. WHY steady? ...as you are not crying anymore, you are not being betrayed anymore, you finally can focus to life that may be unexpected!
