CENDOL BAKAR.

Cendol Bakar - owned by Mr Bakar. :)
Not as in "bake" or "grill" for Bakar.
It is a normal cendol. :-)
It strikes to us about this also..Just wonder how this cendol is baked/grilled. Until one evening, we dropped by and had a taste of it. There, my husband asked one of the boys how is that "cendol bakar" being served ..and finally we got the answer..The boy said, "bakar" is actually our boss....hehe...
Quite confusing at the first glance at the promotion banner....as you see the banner by the road side. It is written "CENDOL BAKAR"...doesn't really indicate that word "BAKAR" is a name of a person... Unless, it is written "BAKAR CENDOL".. Then, it makes sense. Like in "ikan bakar"..it's understood what is grilled. Of course the fish...haha.. Anyway, no complaint.. It is for sure...this time cendol doesn't disappoint us. I can put my comment here that it is better than the Ansari cendol in Taiping, which I have posted earlier in my Taiping's trip.

It is located by the road side after Ijok, on the way to Kuala Selangor (if you drive from Puncak Alam, Kota Puteri or Rawang). Another marker, it is situated after you pass by LATAR flyover. Actually, there are two more branches.. It is in the area of Kuala Selangor and one on your way to Jeram (Ikan Bakar place).

My husband and I love to seek for the best cendol. And finally, we have found one. The cendol is very tasty...yummy with its thick coconut milk and brown sugar/palm sugar (gula melaka).
Good thing here is that you are allowed to refill.
The prices are also reasonable.
RM 2 for the plain cendol.
RM 3 with durian.
RM 3.50 with durian and pulut (glutinous rice).
and more..the more you add, the more you pay..

BUT again, it is a refilled matter!
Free drinks too.

It is a self-service method.
You have to order at this counter. The refill is also there...at the small table near the order counter.

Cozy, peaceful and calm place..we had the cendol under the rambutan tree.
Just love to have an outing with my husband.

Cendol with coconut jelly, red beans, selasih, durian and pulut.
