TIOMAN ISLAND

LINK: Tioman

Breathtaking ambiance...Honeymoon? This is extremely satisfying.
My husband and I took a drive from Kuala Lumpur to get to Mersing. From there we decided to put up a night at a hotel nearby.. So, for wise first move - you can stay in Seri Malaysia Hotel Mersing. It is so close to the jetty. That is what we did.
You can spend a night there as the place is convenient too.  To have a romantic evening, why not walk by the beach. The beach is a walking distance to Seri Malaysia Hotel.
Then, dinner time...a lot of food stalls and restaurants of your choice.

 BERJAYA, TIOMAN
A week in Berjaya, Tioman never feels like a week where we are now. The environment treats us so fair that we want to come back! I don't know about others but I do. I believe that a happy trip with your other half can lead to a happy journey of your life. Reason - we will remember all the sweetest memories when we are there...and this will be remembered...though when we fight..haha! So, GO TRAVEL as frequent as you can.
Tips: Plan your holiday a year earlier.
Reasons
  • Can check great places.
  • Can plan and prepare for extra RM...$$$
  • Will have extra time to choose place to stay...with promotion!

The experience here with my husband is something that will not be forgotten. Cycling time!

 KAYAKING ZONE
 SOFT DRINK BREAK
 ACTIVITIES ANYONE?

Meals to remember...
There are Malay stalls too in the island where you can have breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner.

You can have simple breakfast early in the morning. Or probably after you are done with  your morning walk. One good idea is to get bikes for rental. Have your cold and windy morning filled with fun ride then come back, drop by the stall (just before the Berjaya Tioman entrance) and have this for breakfast.
AND this is what we did. Awesome!

 DINNER...
This stall is just a walking distance from Berjaya. However, when we were there, we took a ride from the villager. RM30 for that ride (pick-up truck).
"Ikan Bakar". Grilled fish Tioman style.
You can walk of course for those who are fit enough as you have to climb up the hill before you reach the stall.

 SIAKAP SAMBAL Grilled
Taste a bit sour...great for sour taste lover!

LUNCH:
My husband and I had this at a Malay restaurant, just right before you get in to Berjaya Resort, after we were done with snorkeling. And it's a great meal to have just after spending hours at sea and beaches.

Seafood fried rice.
My husband eats this.  Taste very good...and the price is reasonable too.

Chicken Padprik fried rice..Lovely..!
I took this. And It tastes very delicious. No complaint.
Ohh...the small little bowl next to the plate is of course my favourite, "sambal belacan" - (Chilli paste mix with prawn paste...add a bit of sugar, salt, tamarind juice).
